The Family Violence Reform Implementation Monitor (FVRIM) and office have concluded its work as of 31 May 2023
This website has now been transferred to the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The FVRIM’s monitoring of the implementation of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence concluded on 31 December 2022.
The FVRIM’s final report of the 5-year Legislative Review of Family Violence Information Sharing and Risk Management has been submitted to the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), and must be tabled in the Parliament by August 2023. At this time the report will be published on this website, along with the submissions received to inform this report (where permission to publish has been granted).

The Monitor would like to thank everyone who contributed to the monitoring and legislative review reports. The Monitor has valued the collaborative and constructive relationships developed with government and sector stakeholders. Your input has made a real difference to our work in monitoring the family violence reforms.
What’s happening now
The Monitor’s reports have been provided to the Premier, the Minister for Prevention of Family Violence and the heads of all Victorian government agencies responsible for the implementation of the family violence reforms for consideration. The reports will continue to inform reform planning and implementation during future stages of the family violence reform agenda.
